Entertainment and theme parks in Riccione and its surroundings


Oltremare
Oltremare is an innovative Theme Park extending over more than 110.000 square metres and is a tribute to our planet and its seas, where entertainment goes hand in hand with the opportunity to have an enjoyable experience filled with educational content, both original and culturally stimulating. Children are free, up to five years old.
IMAX
IMAX Riccione hosts the most spectacular, and involving cinematographic experience in the world. Its gigantic 600 m square screen is as high as a seven storey building, and allows you to experience the sensation in extra large format. A screen so big that it occupies almost all of the spectator's field of vision (170°). IMAX is beyond cinema, wondrous and astounding just waiting to be discovered...
Fiabilandia
Make an appointment for 5th April, the beginning of the new season. New for 2007 Captain Nemo Ride.
Cattolica Aquarium
70 display pools holding more than 3000 examples of 400 different species of fish, coming from seas from all over the world. Short films, animations, an interesting 3D film on the sea-food chain and a special monitoring hall showing a behind-the-scenes view adds further in-depth knowledge to the visit.
Italia In Miniatura
The park is open from 1st April and offers new facilities and services. Italy in miniature is a theme park dedicated to the historical, architectural and cultural Heritage of Italy, which through an unusual mixture of ingredients has the ability to fuse enjoyment with learning.
Mirabilandia
The park is open every day from 1st April to mid September 2007 and every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) until 8th October 2007.
Aquafan
One that will open next June 1, will be the twentieth summer Aquafan. A long-awaited season, thanks to two new structures: the Imax Theatre and the Oltremare that arise next to the water park, creating, on the hill of Aquafan, a center of entertainment among the most important in Europe.
Museo del Motociclo
Besides showing the history of two wheels, in four chronologically ordered spacious themed rooms, this museum also has the intention of becoming the focal point for Italian and foreign motorcyclists. Space has already been allocated for meetings and the entertainment of guests. Ideas and different initiatives have already been announced, which reflect the usual Romagnola vitality to spread the knowledge of motorcycle history and increase the cultural offer to tourists.
Parco Tematico dell'Aviazione
The aviation Museum theme park extends over an area of green terraced hills of about 80.000 square metres. The park offers visitors a rare opportunity to see a collection of airplanes which have characterised the most significant post war moments. The other 40 airplanes on show were used in the Gulf, Korean, Indo-Pakistani, Vietnamese, Iran-Iraq wars and the Bosnian conflicts, fought over the last 50 years. Silent witnesses to past tensions laid out on grassy flower beds, which can now be seen by devoted, enthusiastic groups of airplane lovers. The whole route winds its way over a total of about 2 km and from an elevated position, you can see almost all of the airplanes on display.
Collezione Maranello Rosso
25 vehicles, authentic works of art are displayed in an evocative setting, an anthological collection showing the origins, development and technical stylistic evolution of the Ferrari. The Maranello Rosso Collection is dedicated to the life and work of a man who during life became and still remains a legend: Enzo Ferrari. The legend of the little prancing horse and of its prestigious vehicles is a myth destined never to be forgotten.
