The Hotel Margareth pays special attention to families with children.
On arrival, both parents and children will find everything they could possibly need from a hotel. Everything is tailor made for them: starting with free places for children up to six years of age in April, May, up to 17th June, all September and October.
Bicycles with child seats, pushchairs, indoor and outdoor play areas where children can colour and play, there are small tables, chairs, games designed for different age groups. Television with video recorder and a small video room.
Baby menus are prepared by a special chef, or alternatively mothers can prepare food themselves in our functional kitchen corner, which is devoted to mothers with small children. Boiled vegetables, minced meat, cheese, ham or freshly cooked fish can be prepared there, ready to be purified for your baby, parmesan cheese, oil and any other ingredient necessary for mothers in the preparation of their baby's food.
Meals are served quickly and at flexible times to suit families in peaceful non smoking areas or in the restaurant in a comfortable high chair with personalised baby cutlery, cheerful paper tablecloths and activity colouring set.
The room is designed to provide practical functional assistance and is supplied with cots, small beds, baby changing mats, hot water-bottle kits, nightlights, plug safety covers, baby bath, small stool, nappy carrier and clothes-horse.
Child assistance is guaranteed for up to four hours a day during the baby's mealtimes by the Trottola baby service, under the watchful and reliable eye of a trained nursery nurse. Children can play; dance, draw and use play dough or make beaded necklaces on an enclosed well aired terrace, safe and away from the road. We also have a play area in the garden. If children wish to play there, an assistant will make sure that children do not hurt themselves or go into the street. This is a very professional service run by conscientious, dedicated people.
The paediatric medical service operates 24 hours a day, and is also available to expectant mothers.
The ironing and laundry service offered is fast and reliable.
Baby sitters are available on request (extra charge) for their afternoon or evening nap.
